Sands Of

The storms that created you are exotic, mighty and of course, immensely destructive. I have to admit they fascinate me, as I find powerful storms mirror our extreme life realities.

Like nature's storms, ours arrives without warning wreaking havoc, chaos and sometimes destruction. Reshaping our now before departing as quickly as they arrived. Rendering a new beginning unseen before the power of the storm was fully realised.

Everything on our earth,  in our existence, is created, destroyed and reshaped over time by these spellbinding wonders.

It often feels as though we have little say in the matter. These moments reveal our actual size in the bigger picture; reveal our true importance in the relentless passing of time. 

Yet they also focus our minds, allowing us to explore our actions, allowing us to stop, breathe, consider and change paths if change is what we desire.  

We can build all the defences imaginable, take all the precautions we can conceive, hide amongst all the distractions this modern life offers. Yet, we will never be able to avoid or outrun the beautiful storms of life.  

All we can do is choose how we react to them. Ride out life's storms with gracious clarity, focusing on your worth and ultimate desires.

No matter what you do, what you achieve, what you desire, you will soon find, understand and appreciate the beauty in what you cannot control.
