My love affair with film and story was ignited at a young age and in unique circumstances. Night after night, I would leave the warmth of my bed and sneak out to the familiar surrounds of my home, a humble caravan park. The rooftop of the toilet block was my destination. Once reached, I had the perfect free seat at the local drive-in—a stunning portal to the world of visual storytelling and the emotions that motivated characters.

After such auspicious beginnings, formal education was never going to be my path. Television became my film school, giving me a much-needed insight into all aspects of the visual storytelling process.

The privilege of starting at the bottom and spending time, just watching and learning, was truthfully lost on me at the time. Yet as the years rolled by, it became apparent that this path was, in fact, the perfect first steps into what would become my life passion.

Essentially I am a self-taught director, director of photography, photographer, and some might say, writer. There was no school; there was no greater education; there was just the job and a willingness to learn from those who were gracious enough to share.

As my learning and skills developed, a unique visual language started to emerge. Best described as an emotive vision, where the unique nature of humanity is ever-present.

The connection I feel to my subjects, and their inner being has always inspired me to create expressive images and written insights, creating what I consider to be unique observations.  Designed to engage, challenge, influence, but above all, designed to connect through compassionate truth.

This approach, combined with my desire to develop my craft and understanding of the story, has enabled me to travel the world extensively. Placing me in the privileged position of creating stories for numerous internationally renowned brands.

My photography projects include a compelling black and white coffee table book 'Life's Classroom.' Described as poetically truthful, touching, and immersive. My second book is currently in production. 'The Truth About Friends' is a personal exploration into the very nature of friendship.

The combination of professional and personal projects always leaves me humbled; inspiring me to explore further the world we all share.

A single-story, thought or moment, inspired by reality enabling my canvas to become the unique nature of the world that surrounds us all. My perception of the every day is as beautifully truthful as it is truthfully confronting. An acute combination that allows my work to be seen, heard, and felt.

Thank you for your time.
