Purpose

I find it strange, even laugh at times, that I live with a partner who has such a defined and focused purpose. Because when I look at myself, nothing could be further from the truth. 

You see, all I crave and desire is to have no purpose at all. Yet remain open to all of life’s opportunities, as if uninhibited by what I say I desire, what I claim to be my purpose. 

Yet, I am starting to believe that not having a greater purpose could be my purpose.

At times I look at my partner, somewhat confused, and ponder the question of purpose; have you got it right or have I? But when giving the question a little more thought and hearing the answers, deaf to the past, it begins to dawn on me that what you are doing is right for you and the same can be said for me, yet we are fortunate enough to have the support of the other.

Enjoy your purpose, as I will mine, and together we will laugh, enjoying the moments in between.
